Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed the world as we know it. People are living differently, purchasing differently and, in many ways, thinking differently. Changes anticipated over the next few years have occurred in the space rapidly. The impact is profound. Retailers are reshaping their businesses in real-time, to respond to the pandemic. New consumer research from Accenture indicates that habits formed now will endure beyond this crisis, permanently altering what we value and how and where we shop. This project is in response to the crisis and an exploration of solutions retail businesses can consider to out maneuver uncertainty, and emerge stronger than before.

01 Boring Experiences

The attention span of an online shopper isn't any shorter than one in person. Once they are distracted, uninspired or bored, they're gone.

02 Choice Overload

There are a sea of vendors trying to attract customers attention that send them into a paralysis from too many seemingly similar things.

03 Unrealistic Models

Customers have a hard time imagining what clothes might look and fit on them because of the lack of body inclusivity in the market.

04 Dressing Rooms

Many shoppers will walk away from a waiting line that has 10 or more people in it. The average customer spends about 5 minutes inside of one.
